Video: This Dog Made A Mess But Was Not Ready To Lose The Argument https://ift.tt/qj5U7zv Who doesn't enjoy watching adorable animals on video? Thousands of these adorable animals may be found online on video sharing websites, including animal rescues, reunions of four-legged siblings, the cutest animal odd couples, and the newest canine fashion trends. But if you enjoy watching dog videos, this clip will brighten your day. The caption for the video that is posted on Reddit says, "Can't lose the argument if I scream until you give in." Watch the video here: Can't lose the argument if I scream until you give in by u/HeyImDadMe in AnimalsBeingGeniuses The video opens with footage of the mess the dog made before the owner questions him about who did it. The Husky dog, known for its dramatic communication, howls repeatedly and loudly without pausing. This continues for a while before the human finally concedes defeat in the argument. The video has received several likes and comments. "Watching these videos is like embarking on a serene journey, where the weight of the world simply fades away. It's a much-needed respite for the soul," commented a user. "Huskies are such great communicators. Like, "What are you moaning about, mom? I was just having fun; don't be a killjoy; I'm not listening to you tell me off," wrote another user. "That last look in his eyes made me laugh. We used to have a dog that ran and hid under a corner table every time he was naughty. They know exactly what they've done! I'd wake up and hear our dog run for that corner table, and I knew he was naughty before I even finished walking out to the living room. PS: For all the naysayers out there, no, I never hit my dog. He just wanted to be naughty and not be scolded," commented a third user. https://ift.tt/hMGbtrA July 26, 2023 at 08:43AM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

''Hum Toh...'': Swiggy Instamart To Woman Who Paid Rs 193 For Maggi https://ift.tt/bgzoa6l Recently, a woman started a Twitter debate after revealing that she paid Rs 193 for a plate of Maggi at an airport. Her tweet went viral, and the hefty price tag of the snack became a matter of discussion for internet users. On Tuesday, Swiggy Instamart also dived into the debate and replied to the woman's tweet. ''Hum toh 14 ki hi bechte hai '' (We sell for Rs 14 only), wrote Instamart in response. See the tweet here: Hum toh 14 ki hi bechte hai https://t.co/MAMsh4vt0e — Swiggy Instamart (@SwiggyInstamart) July 18, 2023 Many Twitter users were amused at the reply, but some were not convinced and trolled Swiggy instead. One user asked how much would Swiggy charge if they sold cooked Maggi. Another wrote, ''10 ka ata hai to 14 me kiu sale karte ho?'' (It comes for Rs 10, then why do you sell it for Rs 14?) A third talked about the high delivery charges, and complained, ''Handling charge + Delivery charge + All crumbled + maybe expired + No support resolution.'' A fourth added, ''How much do you charge for delivery?'' The debate started after a Twitter user Sejal Sud posted a photo of the receipt that indicated that Maggi noodles were being sold for Rs 193 at an unnamed airport. "I just bought Maggi for ₹193 at the airport. And I don't know how to react, why would anyone sell something like Maggi at such an inflated price," wrote Sejal expressing her dissatisfaction. Many criticised the pricing and called for authorities to intervene and put an end to such practices. "It's selling at 250 in Indigo flights as well ... AAI needs to put a cap on the rates for consumers to survive their pockets & hunger as well," one user tweeted in response. https://ift.tt/xHmgozL July 19, 2023 at 09:41AM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

Watch: Octopus Steals Diver's GoPro Camera, Refuses To Give It Back https://ift.tt/KUQoSIn Despite its vastness and influence on every living thing on Earth, the ocean's composition is still unknown. The deep seas are home to a variety of fascinating animals, including octopuses, whales, dolphins, porpoises, pinnipeds, seals, sea lions, and walruses. Due to their existence and the ocean's mystery, divers frequently venture beneath the surface to collect data, images, and other specialised marine items in order to learn more about it. One such event, which has since gone viral and astounded people, was experienced by a diver while looking for more information on the deep blue sea. A diver described coming across an octopus that had stolen a GoPro from another diver and would not give it back. Sharing the video of the incident, the diver wrote, "We had an unusual thing happen today while we were snorkelling." A young guy appeared next to us, and when I asked him if he was okay, he replied that he needed our help. I had all sorts of dilemmas go through my mind. I asked him what was wrong, and his reply was, ‘An octopus took my camera'. He took us to where he last saw his camera, and sure enough, there was the eight-armed ‘robber, with each of them tightly wrapped around the GoPro." "After filming the octopus hugging his loot, I dived down and picked up the handle. He really didn't want to let it go, so I had no choice but to lift the GoPro up…with it on it. Man, he was heavy! In the IT city, commuters frequently find themselves spending several hours delayed in traffic while frantically trying to reach their destinations on time.
Amidst the chaos and bustle of the daily commute and congestion, a person shared an image that is making people laugh on social media.
Kawal Oberoi, a Twitter user, chose to take a Rapido bike ride to get to his destination. But sadly, he found himself in a terrible traffic congestion.
But while he was snarled up in traffic, he discovered something humorous on his smartwatch. He was riding a bike, but that watch was telling him he was cycling because of his extremely sluggish speed.
He shared the image of the smartwatch on Twitter and captioned it, "How bad is Bangalore traffic? Well, I took a Rapido bike ride, and my watch thought I was cycling."

This Pakistani Family Holds World Record For Being Born On Same Day https://ift.tt/I6NYzWP A special family in Pakistan's Larkana holds a unique world record. All nine members of the family have one thing in common: they were all born on August 1. According to Guinness World Records, "the family of nine consists of the father, Ameer Ali; the mother, Khudeja; and seven children aged 19-30: Sindhoo, female twins Sasui and Sapna, Aamir, Ambar, and male twins Ammar and Ahmar. Remarkably, they all share the same birthday: August 1. This is a world record for the most family members born on the same day." The date is extra special for Ameer and Khudeja as it's also their wedding anniversary. They married on their birthday in 1991, exactly one year before their eldest daughter was born. The record book company further mentioned that the seven Mangi children also hold the record for the most siblings born on the same day. The record was previously held by five children from the Cummins family (USA), who were all born on February 20 between 1952 and 1966. Until the Mangi family was discovered, this was the only verified example of a family producing five children with coincident birthdays. Ameer was "surprised and delighted" after his first child, Sindhoo, was born on August 1, 1992, sharing the same birthday as him and his wife. He says that he and Khudeja were equally surprised when each successive birth occurred on the same date. They saw it as a "gift from God." Each and every child was conceived and born normally. Khudeja's labour was never induced early, and none were delivered prematurely by caesarean section. https://ift.tt/6sqphlY July 12, 2023 at 12:00AM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

Viral Video: 20 Lions Squeeze Onto River Bank To Drink https://ift.tt/kUrfB5P There are a lot of strange things in wildlife that this civilization is unaware of. Sometimes the deep forests reveal sights of nature that most of us cannot possibly imagine. In the MalaMala Game Reserve in South Africa a pride of 20 lions recently huddled together to drink water from a little spring in the Sand River creating quite an intriguing sight. The picture-perfect moment was shot and shared by Nadav Ossendryver founder and CEO of LatestSightings.com. Watch the video here: "It was our final morning out on safari here at the famous MalaMala Game Reserve. As fate had it the morning started off rather slowly. We had been searching for the elusive leopard but had no luck in doing so" said Mr Ossendryver. "As we made our way back to camp something unexpected happened! It all started with a family of elephants bathing in the Sand River. Even though this may be a common sight on safari we stopped to watch the elephants play. After all it was our last drive; we needed to make the most of it." "And then as if it were scripted movement in the background! Two ears at first appeared behind the elephants. We immediately knew it was a lion. That lion came down the ridge and started drinking right in front of us." "We looked up back on to the sandbank and suddenly another lion popped out and another and another! This was the Kambula Lion Pride that we had found. We began hoping that they would all come down to drink in a line as lions do on rare occasions. Our prayers were answered!" https://ift.tt/3ifpTqk July 05 2023 at 11:37PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

Man Finds Handwritten Note From 1975 Tracks Down Woman Who Wrote It https://ift.tt/NxA5H4y A 14-year-old girl's message written 48-year-ago was found hidden in a bottle behind a wall in an ancient house in Tazewell County Illinois US. The letter was discovered by a carpenter and the handwritten note soon made its way to the social media platform. Dakota Mohn the carpenter was restoring the house when he stumbled upon a message on the living room wall's framework "Note 9/29/1975" and arrows pointing to a notch in the wood. He followed the arrows and came across a secret compartment containing a bottle with a two-page note written by 14-year-old Stephanie Herron. Surprisingly the man also located the woman who wrote the letter. Talking to Journal Star Mr Mohn said "My crew was in there demolishing the front living room of the house. I was cleaning up debris and I looked up and saw the lettering on the wall that said 'Note.' I stuck my cell phone in there and took a picture and saw it in this bottle. Took it out and read the note." Taking to Facebook Mr Mohn wrote "I have found a lot of cool things in my career as a carpenter but this one tops it off." See the post: The post soon went viral and it reached Stephanie Herron's sister Amanda Birkey. In her comment she revealed "Stephanie is my sister. The baby was born the next day! And then l followed 2 years later. I loved that huge house. If l could move it to some different land l would." In fact Stephanie Herron also commented on the post. She wrote "Hi I wrote this note - it is so neat that it was found. My sisters and I loved time capsules which were in the news leading up to America's Bicentennial. By the way my sister was born the next day." Stephanie Herron is now Stephanie Poit. The 61-year-old woman now lives in New York US with her husband and five children. Expressing her astonishment she said "I was shocked absolutely shocked when I heard about the note. Honestly I forgot all about it. Life goes on years go by. I can't believe how much this has struck people. I've gotten notes from people who remember me as a kid growing up in Green Valley. It was a good place to grow up." "And I'm getting notes from people I don't know teachers a lot of them who are inspired to have their students do the same thing now. Hey I guess I'm a Facebook sensation" she added. https://ift.tt/uOTiHES July 04 2023 at 10:50PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

Wheeled Luggage Banned In This Beautiful European City. Here's Why https://ift.tt/oehqFMX The city of Dubrovnik is breathtaking both for its natural beauty and for the fascinating colours and textures of its architecture. Its popularity as a travel destination in Europe is largely due to this. The city of Dubrovnik draws hundreds of thousands of visitors annually making Croatia one of the most gorgeous countries in all of Europe. However a new policy that has been introduced to this beautiful city has surprised tourists all over the world who want to make a visit to this city. According to The New York Post Dubrovnik residents have complained about noise pollution when tourists drag their suitcases around the city's famed stone-paved and cobbled streets claiming that the act keeps them up at night. And because of this Mayor Mato Frankovic has introduced new rules that will ban tourists from dragging wheeled suitcases around the winding roads in Dubrovnik's Old Town. Visitors who do choose to carry their bags face a hefty fine of $288 (Rs 23630). The action is a part of the Dubrovnik Tourist Office's "Respect the City" initiative. The new portal further mentions that the ban is part of a bigger plan to stop tourists from carrying suitcases in Dubrovnik. According to local reports starting in November the local government intends to set up a system where travellers deposit bags outside the city. According to The Dubrovnik Times Dubrovnik has continued to be a very popular tourist destination with 289000 visitors and 763500 overnight stays since the year's commencement. In addition to having streets made of stone the city's Old Town is renowned for its old walls that surround it its sunny climate and for being the location of King's Landing in the hit television series Game of Thrones. https://ift.tt/Z3aLl29 June 30 2023 at 10:44PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com
