The video shows the mammal breaking away from the pack and sweeping the ground with its trunk before tossing up a bag of black bag. The police were already on the scene. The police waited till the wild elephants had made their exit before inspecting the bag, the media outlet reported. The footage shows police opening the bag to find a tightly bound brick of opium, buried under layers of clothes. The police investigation is underway. There is no doubt that with the advent of digital payment, the dependency on cash has reduced considerably. From roadside shops to autorickshaw drivers to fancy restaurants, an overwhelming majority of people have started to accept cashless purchases using various UPI applications. However, some people are still hesitant about the idea of online payments due to the risks involved with it. Talking about the same, a Bengaluru man took to social media and stated that Mumbai auto-rickshaw drivers are outdated as they don't accept the new mode of payment. However, this comment by him has sparked a massive debate online.
An internet user, Sumukh Rao recently took to X, formerly Twitter, and said, "It's funny how Mumbai is the 'Financial Capital' of India but 99% of rickshaw and taxi valas don't accept UPI. Heck, several shops and popular establishments like Rustom Ice Cream and Kyani only deal in cash." He added that the condition is extremely different in comparison to Bengaluru where drivers have multiple scanning codes. "Come to Bengaluru and every rickshaw has like 3 different QR codes," he concluded.

The woman, who was moved by the sweet passenger's gesture, took to Reddit to share the same. While a section of people considered the post to be heartwarming, another section said that metro trains do not allow food to be consumed inside the trains and such rules should be adhered to. A user, who goes by the handle Prudent-Action 3511 took to the platform and said, “I was going home from Raidurg in metro and started complaining to my friends about how hungry I was. We were joking about it nd I even pointed out someone's juice bottle in their bag nd joked about simply stealing it, they weren't looking at me so I was safe anyway.” She added that a “nice lady”, who was sitting beside them asked if they were hungry. “Then she says she has pulihora that she had for lunch but left over, she said it's still good tho. And then other box is half full with pomegranates and asks if we want it,” she added. The user added that she was hesitant at first but took the pomegranates and ate them. Within two minutes, the “nice lady” got up to leave at her stop and told her fellow passenger that she “could keep the box”. She continued on Reddit, “I knew how important boxes are for us women(learnt from mom loll) so I just took how much ever I could fit into my hand and returned it to her. In a statement, the organisation stated that with August 4, 2023, marking 45 years and 361 days since his operation, Colin has officially achieved the world record. According to the GWR, Mr Hancock was 30 years old when he felt pain in his chest, and after that, within one year, he underwent triple heart bypass surgery. Although the surgery was successful, it remained uncertain how long he would live, and he was told that he'd be dealing with heart problems for the rest of his life. Colin, now 77, is still going strong and defying expectations. With August 4, 2023, marking 45 years and 361 days since his operations, Colin has been officially certified as the world's longest-surviving triple heart bypass patient (male). The previous record belonged to Delbert Dale McBee (USA), who passed away in 2015 at the age of 90, 41 years and 63 days after his operation. Colin stated that he was in great shape when he was 30 years old. He participated in a variety of sports and physical training, but there was not any indication that he had any heart problems. British national Colin Hancock is officially the world's longest-surviving triple heart bypass patient (male), according to Guinness World Records (GWR). In a statement, the organisation stated that with August 4, 2023, marking 45 years and 361 days since his operation, Colin has officially achieved the world record.
According to the GWR, Mr Hancock was 30 years old when he felt pain in his chest, and after that, within one year, he underwent triple heart bypass surgery.
Although the surgery was successful, it remained uncertain how long he would live, and he was told that he'd be dealing with heart problems for the rest of his life.
Colin, now 77, is still going strong and defying expectations.
With August 4, 2023, marking 45 years and 361 days since his operations, Colin has been officially certified as the world's longest-surviving triple heart bypass patient (male).
The previous record belonged to Delbert Dale McBee (USA), who passed away in 2015 at the age of 90, 41 years and 63 days after his operation.
Colin stated that he was in great shape when he was 30 years old. He participated in a variety of sports and physical training, but there was not any indication that he had any heart problems.
He discloses, however, that he did not have a healthy diet as a child, and that it was "quite lard-laden," with his favourite meal being egg and chips cooked in fat.
