Shilpa Shetty Pens Heartfelt Note As Her Mother Sunanda Undergoes Surgery, Says, 'Seeing a Parent...'
'Sexual Fantasy' Assignment At US School Outrages Parents https://ift.tt/mEaIKQu Parents and internet users are criticising a school in Oregon, United States, over a peculiar assignment that was given to its students. The X-rated homework required pupils to create a "sexual fantasy" using materials including feathers, flavouring syrup, and massage oil. According to The New York Post, health class students at Churchill High School in Eugene were told to write a short story detailing a "sexual fantasy,'' including sex toys, as instructed in a syllabus approved by the district. "You will write a short story of a paragraph or two. This story is a sexual fantasy that will have no penetration of any kind or oral sex (no way of passing an STI),'' the assignment read. "You will choose 3 items (romantic music, candles, massage oil, feathers, feather boas, flavored syrup, etc.) to use in your story. Your story should show that you can show and receive loving physical affection without having sex." After an hour of the assignment's posting to a social media group, parents had left hundreds of comments. Katherine Rogers, one of many outraged parents at the school, condemned the "sexual fantasy" lesson handed out by teacher Kirk Miller, saying students in the class felt "mortified, awkward, and creeped out." Moreover, Rogers questioned how the district could permit such a project, as reported by Oregon Live. "The district reviews these curriculums before they get approved, right?," he asked. https://ift.tt/TVnJhtQ March 16, 2023 at 11:45PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

According to a report by BBC, the dilapidated property, which was put on sale last year has no mains electricity or water. The property can only be reached by 4X4 or quad bike from Ribblehead. Darren Spratt from estate agent Fisher Hopper told BBC, "We've never had anything quite like this." Check out the property here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Fisher Hopper (@fisher_hopper) The property generated a lot of interest among customers but no sale was forthcoming with the price reduced by $60,546 in Autumn 2022. 3 Bleamoor Cottages is a former railway worker's home situated on the main hiking path up Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales. It has become a landmark as thousands of walkers pass the front of the Bleamoor Cottages. "It's about a 20 to 25-minute walk to the property. That's one way to lug your shopping," Mr Spratt told the media outlet. Mr Spratt did not expect that the house will become a family home again due to its unusual position. Electricity is provided by a windmill and a diesel generator, the listing said. Described as needing "the right buyer with a vision", its future is likely to be as a commercial property, such as a bunkhouse or a coffee shack, a BBC report said. Mr Spratt shares that he feels the property could become an AirBnB-style experience. https://ift.tt/TVnJhtQ March 16, 2023 at 11:05PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com

Due to how infrequently they are seen and captured on camera, a glimpse of a family of snow leopards in Ladakh has now captivated the internet. Parveen Kaswan, an officer of the Indian Forest Service, posted a breathtaking video of a snow leopard engaging in a bloody pursuit and struggling with its prey on Wednesday. He shared the video and wrote, "What a brilliant hunter." The video has garnered several likes, views, and comments. This is not the first snow leopard video to go viral recently; a few days ago, a video of a snow leopard with its two cubs also went viral. It's a mother with two cubs. Snow leopards are most adaptable to high & cold altitudes. They are known for their acrobatics including running on steep slopes and long jumps. The video was shot at Lahaul-Spiti, during last week. pic.twitter.com/QtSTUnen5S — Parveen Kaswan, IFS (@ParveenKaswan) March 6, 2023 The video shows snow leopard cubs running across the mountain and reuniting with their mother after hearing her call. Further in the video, the family can be seen snuggling together. According to the WWF website, snow leopards are thinly spread across 12 countries in central Asia, and it's at home in high, rugged mountain landscapes. In India, snow leopards are mostly found in the high-altitude, mountainous terrains of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. Snow leopards are solitary creatures and skilled predators, able to kill prey up to three times their own weight in challenging terrain. They are rare species of wildlife that are highly threatened due to poaching for their skin, bones, and other body parts. https://ift.tt/9rLXiJj March 15, 2023 at 11:34PM NDTV News-Offbeat https://www.ndtv.com
